There are many different approaches to coaching and mentoring. Mine is based on a series of 1:1 conversations with you to understand the issues you're facing and what you want to achieve. I listen, help to make the problems you're facing manageable and work with you to find new perspectives and tangible actions that you can take to achieve your goals.
How does it work in practice?
Before we agree to work together, we'll have an initial conversation by phone or Zoom of up to 30 minutes. There is no charge for this call, it's purpose is for you to explain your issues, decide if coaching or mentoring are for you and if you'd like to ahead.
We will discuss the number and frequency of sessions you would like and what the fees will be. I work online, using Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, or MS Teams so we'll agree which of these is best for you.
You may decide a programme (block) of coaching will work best for you. These are completely flexible, with no time limit on usage and start at 5 hours. You will get a fee discount for buying a programme; see below.
After our initial conversation I will issue an agreement document setting out the type of coaching/mentoring we have agreed for you to sign and return.
At your first session we will talk about your specific goals and agree actions to help you achieve them.
You will need to undertake activities between sessions to put what you have learned from the sessions into practice and help you remain on track to achieve your goals.
How much does it cost?
The initial phone call of up to 30 minutes to agree your requirements is free of charge.
Subsequent sessions are tailored to each client and they usually last 60 minutes.
I agree fees on an individual basis with each client. My range of services is broad so you'll appreciate it's difficult to provide specific fees, but to give you an idea, the range is £80 - £100 per hour.
If you would like a programme of 5 or more hours of coaching, I offer a discount of 10% subject to full payment in advance.
Payment
I ask that you pay your fees by bank transfer within 7 days of the invoice date, or, if you're buying a block of coaching, before your first session.
